The Ghana Chamber of Mines is an umbrella body that represents the shared interest of the companies involved in mineral exploration, production and processing in the country.
The Executive Chairman had the privileged of serving the Affiliate Group as Chairman for over 20 years.
By virtue of his hard work, commitment and the demonstrable leadership qualities which he dedicated to the group and also to the Chamber, the Executive Chairman was identified among other industry players to be one of the recipients for the Mining Industry Award for the year 2022 in December 2022 at the Movenpick Ambassador Hotel. The award is in recognition of the achievements and contribution to the Mining industry.
The Executive Chairman was instrumental in the setting up of the Ghana Canada Chamber of Commerce from its early inception to its full formation.
Its membership comprises of private sector /other Affiliate industries that meet on a regular basis to discuss business opportunities, strengthen synergies, discuss investments and any laggards that needs to be addressed.
Again, by virtue of his hard work, commitment and dedication to the Association, The Executive Chairman became a recipient of the prestigious awards for the love and unwavering support for the Association since 2010 on 16th December 2022.
African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is an Association set up to strengthen Ghana’s trade and investment relations with the rest of Africa. The award came into birth to institute an annual Ghana-Africa Business Awards Scheme aimed at honouring enterprises which make major contributions to the promotion of businesses to exchange with other African States in response to the NEPAD challenge(s).
The Ghana-Africa Business Awards Scheme was organized by Top Brass Ghana under the auspices of the Ministry of Regional Co-operation and NEPAD as part of Ghana’s celebration of Africa Day celebration which falls on 25th May every year.
Riepco was honoured as an organization which makes significant contributions to Ghana’s development through the promotion of trade, investment and other economic relations between Ghana and sister African countries at the 17th Ghana-Africa Business Awards, 2023 on 25th May.
